PRESENTATION LETTER OF CREDENCE AMBASSADOR OF THE REPUBLIC INDONESIA TO THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF YUGOSLAVIA

 

 

On November 22, 2002, His Excellency Mr. Ladjuris presented to His Excellency Mr. Vojislav Kostunica, President of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, the letters accrediting him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.

In presenting of his Letters of Credence, the Ambassador convey to President of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia the warmest greetings and the best wishes from President of the Republic of Indonesia, H.E. Madame Megawati Soekarnoputri and the people of Indonesia for the well being of the President of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and for the prosperity of the people of Yugoslavia. The Ambassador underlined that the relation between two countries has deeply rooted in history and will become a valuable key factor to further developing and strengthening the bilateral cooperation. From the economic point of view, the ample room for cooperation is still wide open for the two countries, and the enhancement of the existing cooperation should be laid down in new bilateral agreement on economic, scientific and technological cooperation. As a part of Europe, Yugoslavia undoubtedly plays a strategic role in Southeast Europe region with strong prospect for cooperation with Indonesia.

In receiving the presentation of Letters of Credence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, the President of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia address that the Government of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia welcome the decision of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia to raise the level of the diplomatic representation in Yugoslavia. Further more the President wishes to foster and advance relations and cooperation with its traditional friend, Republic of Indonesia.
