was born in 1948 in Sigumuru, North Sumatra, in Indonesia. He graduated 1974 in Faculty of Social and Politics, University of Gajah Mada, Yogyakarta, majoring in International relations, and completed Junior, Mid-Career and Senior Foreign Training Courses at Department of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. He joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Indonesia in 1975.

o 1998–2001 Deputy Director of European Directorate, Department of Foreign Affairs, Jakarta, Indonesia
o 2001–2004 Policy Analyst on Political and Security Affairs, National Resilience Council, Jakarta, Indonesia
o 2004-2006 Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia, Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia, Frankfurt, Germany
o January 2007 – present Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to Republic Serbia, Belgrade, Serbia
